About Rowvert
Rowvert is a web app that converts PDF bank statements (digital or scanned) into Excel, CSV, QuickBooks and Xero files. It extracts every transaction — date, description, debit, credit and running balance — and checks the result against the statement's own opening and closing balances so errors are flagged instead of silently imported. It works with statements from any bank, including Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, HSBC, Barclays, Lloyds, NatWest, Monzo, Revolut, Wise, RBC, TD, Scotiabank, Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, Westpac and NAB. Anyone can convert 1 page every 24 hours for free without an account; a free account gets 5 pages a day. Paid plans start at $15/month for 400 pages, and a one-time 100-page pack costs $12. What Rowvert does
- Input: a PDF bank statement, digital or scanned (OCR is automatic). Up to 100 pages and 25 MB per file.
- Output: Excel (.xlsx) with typed dates and numbers plus a Summary sheet; standard CSV; QuickBooks Online CSV; Xero CSV.
- Columns extracted: date, description, debit, credit, balance, page number.
- Reconciliation: opening balance + credits − debits is checked against the closing balance; rows that break the running balance are flagged and can be removed before export.
- Also detected: bank name, account number, currency and statement period.
- API: REST endpoint on the Business plan for bulk or automated conversion.

Privacy and security
Uploaded PDFs are processed in memory and never written to disk. Extracted data is stored encrypted for the retention period of the plan (1 day anonymous, 7 days free, 90 days Starter, 365 days Professional, account lifetime on Business), then deleted.
