Good to know

  • CSV and QIF downloads are only in Macquarie Online Banking, not in the mobile app.
  • The download only contains the transactions shown on screen, so scroll down to load more before downloading.
  • Statements for a closed account have to be requested via live chat, and a fee may apply.

Can I download my Macquarie Bank statement as a CSV?

Yes: Macquarie Bank's transaction export offers CSV, QIF (steps above). Statements themselves come as PDF. If the export doesn't reach back far enough, convert the PDF statements to CSV with Rowvert.

How far back can I download Macquarie Bank statements?

Depending on the account, past statements from the last 2 to 10 years can be viewed online.

How do I convert a Macquarie Bank PDF statement to Excel?

Download the statement PDF, drop it on the Rowvert converter and download Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo or CSV), Xero, OFX or QIF. Each row is checked against the statement's running balance, and 1 page a day is free without an account.

Does Rowvert work with scanned Macquarie Bank statements?

Yes. Scanned or photographed statements go through OCR automatically. Rows read from an image are marked so you can double-check them.

Is my Macquarie Bank statement stored?

The PDF is processed in memory and never kept. Only the extracted spreadsheet is stored, for your plan's retention window, then deleted.

Which date format will the Excel file use?

Macquarie Bank statements usually show dates as DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY; Rowvert converts them to real Excel dates so they sort and filter correctly.
