Good to know
- QBO and OFX exports only work when you export one account at a time.
- In the Westpac App the option is 'Download transactions report' (found via Smart Search); the CSV/QBO/QIF/OFX choice is described for desktop Online Banking.
- Closed savings and transaction account statements are only shown online for single account holders, and some products do not offer eStatements at all.

- Download the PDF statement using the steps above.
- Drop it on the converter — no template to choose, scanned PDFs work too.

Can I download my Westpac statement as a CSV?
Yes: Westpac's transaction export offers CSV, QBO, QIF, OFX (steps above). Statements themselves come as PDF. If the export doesn't reach back far enough, convert the PDF statements to CSV with Rowvert.
How far back can I download Westpac statements?
Up to 7 years of statements can be viewed online, and closed-account statements are kept online for seven years.
How do I convert a Westpac PDF statement to Excel?
Download the statement PDF, drop it on the Rowvert converter and download Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo or CSV), Xero, OFX or QIF. Each row is checked against the statement's running balance, and 1 page a day is free without an account.
Does Rowvert work with scanned Westpac statements?
Yes. Scanned or photographed statements go through OCR automatically. Rows read from an image are marked so you can double-check them.
Is my Westpac statement stored?
The PDF is processed in memory and never kept. Only the extracted spreadsheet is stored, for your plan's retention window, then deleted.
Which date format will the Excel file use?
Westpac statements usually show dates as DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY; Rowvert converts them to real Excel dates so they sort and filter correctly.
