How to download your Bank of America bank statement
Bank of America lets you download statements as PDF in online banking and in the app. Below: the exact steps, how far back you can go, and how to turn a PDF statement into Excel, CSV or QuickBooks.
Download a PDF statement in online banking
- Log in to Online Banking.
- Hover over 'Accounts' and click 'Statements & Documents'.
- Use the drop-down menus to choose the account and the year.
- Click the statement to open it as a PDF, then save or print it.
Download a statement in the Bank of America app
- Log in to the Mobile Banking app and tap 'Menu'.
- In the Statements and Documents section, tap 'Statements and Documents'.
- Choose the account and the year from the drop-down menus.
- Tap the statement you want to open.
Export transactions as CSV
Bank of America's help pages describe PDF statements but don't list a CSV export for personal accounts. If all you have is the PDF, convert it to CSV or Excel with Rowvert.
How far back can you go?
