How to download your Capital One bank statement
Capital One lets you download statements as PDF in online banking and in the app. Below: the exact steps, how far back you can go, and how to turn a PDF statement into Excel, CSV or QuickBooks.
Download a PDF statement in online banking
- Sign in at capitalone.com.
- Click the account you want statements for.
- Click 'View statements'.
- Choose the statement and open or save the PDF.
Download a statement in the Capital One app
- Sign in to the Capital One Mobile app.
- Tap the account you want statements for.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap 'Statements'.
- Pick the statement you need.
Export transactions as CSV
Capital One's help pages describe PDF statements but don't list a CSV export for personal accounts. If all you have is the PDF, convert it to CSV or Excel with Rowvert.
How far back can you go?
Capital One says up to 7 years of statements can be viewed online for active accounts.

- You must be enrolled in paperless statements to view statements online.
- Bank statements usually appear online by the 6th of each month.
- Savings accounts with no activity may only get a quarterly statement.

Can I download my Capital One statement as a CSV?
