How to download your Chase bank statement
Chase lets you download statements as PDF in online banking and in the app. Below: the exact steps, how far back you can go, and how to turn a PDF statement into Excel, CSV or QuickBooks.
Download a PDF statement in online banking
- Sign in at chase.com.
- Click the main menu icon in the top left corner of the dashboard.
- Choose 'Statements & documents'.
- Pick the account and the year.
- Open or save the statement you need as a PDF.
Download a statement in the Chase app
- Open the Chase Mobile app and tap the 'Profile & Settings' icon in the top right corner.
- Under Document manager, choose 'Statements & documents'.
- Tap 'Statements' and select your account.
- Pick the year and the statement; it opens as a PDF.
Export transactions as CSV
Chase's help pages describe PDF statements but don't list a CSV export for personal accounts. If all you have is the PDF, convert it to CSV or Excel with Rowvert.
How far back can you go?
Chase says up to 7 years of statements are available online, depending on the account type.
Good to know
- The 7-year statement archive depends on the account type, so some accounts show less.
- Each statement covers only the account it is issued for, so you need one download per account.
Convert your Chase statement to Excel
Statement PDFs can't be sorted, summed or imported. Drop one on Rowvert and get a spreadsheet with one row per transaction — date, description, debit, credit, balance — checked against the statement's own closing balance. Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo or CSV), Xero, OFX and QIF.
- Download the PDF statement using the steps above.
- Drop it on the converter — no template to choose, scanned PDFs work too.
- Download Excel, CSV, or a QuickBooks / Xero-ready file.

Can I download my Chase statement as a CSV?
Chase's help pages describe PDF statements; a CSV export isn't listed there for personal accounts. Converting the PDF statement gives you the same transactions as CSV or Excel.
How far back can I download Chase statements?
Chase says up to 7 years of statements are available online, depending on the account type.
How do I convert a Chase PDF statement to Excel?
Download the statement PDF, drop it on the Rowvert converter and download Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo or CSV), Xero, OFX or QIF. Each row is checked against the statement's running balance, and 1 page a day is free without an account.
Does Rowvert work with scanned Chase statements?
Yes. Scanned or photographed statements go through OCR automatically. Rows read from an image are marked so you can double-check them.
Is my Chase statement stored?
The PDF is processed in memory and never kept. Only the extracted spreadsheet is stored, for your plan's retention window, then deleted.
Which date format will the Excel file use?
Chase statements usually show dates as MM/DD; Rowvert converts them to real Excel dates so they sort and filter correctly.
