What is a QBO file?
A .qbo file is a QuickBooks Web Connect file: an OFX bank file with two extra Intuit tags (INTU.BID and INTU.USERID) that QuickBooks checks before it imports. It holds one account's transactions with a posted date, signed amount, payee, memo and a unique transaction ID (FITID) per line, plus the ending balance.
What is an PDF export?
A printable, read-only transaction listing: date, description, amount (and running balance when the source has one), with totals for money in, money out and the ending balance from the file. Useful for records, auditors or a client who just wants to read the transactions.

Is the PDF an official bank statement?
No. It's a readable listing of the data in your .qbo file. When an official statement is required, download the statement PDF from your bank.
How many transactions fit on a page?
About 40 on US Letter. Long files run over as many pages as needed, with the column headers repeated.
