How to download your Monzo bank statement
Monzo lets you download statements as PDF in the app. Transactions can also be exported as CSV, QIF. Below: the exact steps, how far back you can go, and how to turn a PDF statement into Excel, CSV or QuickBooks.
Download a statement in the Monzo app
- Open the Monzo app and tap 'Home' in the menu bar.
- Tap the three dots underneath your card.
- Tap 'Bank statements'.
- Choose the date range you need.
- Choose PDF as the format.
Export transactions as CSV or another format

- Choose the date range.
- Choose CSV or QIF as the format.
The export covers all transactions and Pots.
Good to know
- For personal accounts Monzo only documents the app route; the web 'Export statement' button is described for Monzo Business accounts.
- Monzo treats its statements as original documents; a stamped or printed copy has to be requested from support.
- If Monzo closes an account, the full transaction history is emailed as a password-protected statement with the password sent by text.

Can I download my Monzo statement as a CSV?
Yes: Monzo's transaction export offers CSV, QIF (steps above). Statements themselves come as PDF. If the export doesn't reach back far enough, convert the PDF statements to CSV with Rowvert.
