How to download your Lloyds Bank statement

Lloyds Bank lets you download statements as PDF in online banking and in the app. Below: the exact steps, how far back you can go, and how to turn a PDF statement into Excel, CSV or QuickBooks.

Download a PDF statement in online banking

  1. Log in to Lloyds Internet Banking.
  2. Open the account and select 'Statement options' on the account page.
  3. Choose to download the statement (you can also print it or order a paper copy).
  4. Save the downloaded file to your device.

Download a statement in the Lloyds Bank app

  1. Log in to the Lloyds app and select the account.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu.
  3. Select 'Download or print statement'.
  4. Save, print or email the downloaded statement from your device.

Export transactions as CSV

Lloyds Bank's help pages describe PDF statements but don't list a CSV export for personal accounts. If all you have is the PDF, convert it to CSV or Excel with Rowvert.

How far back can you go?

Lloyds says statements up to 7 years old are available in online banking and at least 10 years' worth in the mobile app. For Online for Business, the transaction search behind the export goes back up to 12 months (3 months in the older layout); no figure is given for personal accounts.

Good to know

  • The app reaches further back (at least 10 years) than online banking (up to 7 years).
  • Credit card statements: a PDF can be downloaded in the app, but in online banking you have to ask for one via online chat.
  • Paper copies ordered online or in the app can take up to 10 working days to arrive.

Convert your Lloyds Bank statement to Excel

Statement PDFs can't be sorted, summed or imported. Drop one on Rowvert and get a spreadsheet with one row per transaction — date, description, debit, credit, balance — checked against the statement's own closing balance. Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo or CSV), Xero, OFX and QIF.

  1. Download the PDF statement using the steps above.
  2. Drop it on the converter — no template to choose, scanned PDFs work too.
  3. Download Excel, CSV, or a QuickBooks / Xero-ready file.

Can I download my Lloyds Bank statement as a CSV?

Lloyds Bank's help pages describe PDF statements; a CSV export isn't listed there for personal accounts. Converting the PDF statement gives you the same transactions as CSV or Excel.

How far back can I download Lloyds Bank statements?

Lloyds says statements up to 7 years old are available in online banking and at least 10 years' worth in the mobile app. For Online for Business, the transaction search behind the export goes back up to 12 months (3 months in the older layout); no figure is given for personal accounts.

How do I convert a Lloyds Bank PDF statement to Excel?

Download the statement PDF, drop it on the Rowvert converter and download Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo or CSV), Xero, OFX or QIF. Each row is checked against the statement's running balance, and 1 page a day is free without an account.

Does Rowvert work with scanned Lloyds Bank statements?

Yes. Scanned or photographed statements go through OCR automatically. Rows read from an image are marked so you can double-check them.

Is my Lloyds Bank statement stored?

The PDF is processed in memory and never kept. Only the extracted spreadsheet is stored, for your plan's retention window, then deleted.

Which date format will the Excel file use?

Lloyds Bank statements usually show dates as DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY; Rowvert converts them to real Excel dates so they sort and filter correctly.
