How to download your Tide bank statement
Tide lets you download statements as PDF in online banking and in the app. Transactions can also be exported as CSV. Below: the exact steps, how far back you can go, and how to turn a PDF statement into Excel, CSV or QuickBooks.
Download a PDF statement in online banking
- Log in to Tide on the web and select the account.
- Click the account details ('i') icon at the top right, then 'Statements'.
- Under 'Statement type', choose 'Custom range'.
- Pick the period you need.
- Download the statement as a PDF.
Download a statement in the Tide app
- Tap the profile icon, then 'Bank account'.
- Tap 'Account statements'.
- Select the month or months you want.
- Tap 'Share' to save the statement as a PDF.
Export transactions as CSV
CSV
- On the web, go to 'Accounts' and select the account.
- Click the funnel icon next to the account balance and set your filters.
- Click 'Apply Filter', then 'Export'.
- Choose a CSV type (and whether to include attachments) and save the file.
- In the app instead: 'Pay' > 'View more' under the transactions list, filter, tap the share icon, pick a CSV type and tap 'Export'.
Pick the CSV type 'Standard - Cleared only (including running balance)' if you need a running balance column.
How far back can you go?
A custom-range PDF statement can cover up to 6 months per document and its end date must be at least 3 days in the past; monthly statements are issued on the 4th of the following month.
Good to know
- A custom-range statement covers at most 6 months and cannot end less than 3 days ago, so longer periods need several documents.
- If a statement holds more than 2,000 transactions, Tide emails a secure download link instead of downloading it directly.
- Monthly statements only appear on the 4th of the following month.
Convert your Tide statement to Excel
Statement PDFs can't be sorted, summed or imported. Drop one on Rowvert and get a spreadsheet with one row per transaction — date, description, debit, credit, balance — checked against the statement's own closing balance. Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo or CSV), Xero, OFX and QIF.
- Download the PDF statement using the steps above.
- Drop it on the converter — no template to choose, scanned PDFs work too.
- Download Excel, CSV, or a QuickBooks / Xero-ready file.

Can I download my Tide statement as a CSV?
Yes: Tide's transaction export offers CSV (steps above). Statements themselves come as PDF. If the export doesn't reach back far enough, convert the PDF statements to CSV with Rowvert.
How far back can I download Tide statements?
A custom-range PDF statement can cover up to 6 months per document and its end date must be at least 3 days in the past; monthly statements are issued on the 4th of the following month.
How do I convert a Tide PDF statement to Excel?
Download the statement PDF, drop it on the Rowvert converter and download Excel, CSV, QuickBooks (.qbo or CSV), Xero, OFX or QIF. Each row is checked against the statement's running balance, and 1 page a day is free without an account.
Does Rowvert work with scanned Tide statements?
Yes. Scanned or photographed statements go through OCR automatically. Rows read from an image are marked so you can double-check them.
Is my Tide statement stored?
The PDF is processed in memory and never kept. Only the extracted spreadsheet is stored, for your plan's retention window, then deleted.
Which date format will the Excel file use?
Tide statements usually show dates as DD/MM/YYYY or MM/DD/YYYY; Rowvert converts them to real Excel dates so they sort and filter correctly.
